LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT (ADA CASEY NOVAK)
I've been a SVU fan since the beginning, and was heartbroken to see ADA Cabot (Stephanie March) go, figuring no one could possibly fill her abandoned shoes. Well, ADA Casey Novak hasn't filled them, she's kicked them aside in favour of her own: a touch less politically correct, a little more cocky (if not downright brash and balsy, whether she's right or not), incredibly competent, and yet still a little naive.

Professionally, she rocks, but in typical SVU fashion, we know little about her personal life: Born in the month of September, she comes from white collar crime, used to clerk for Judge Mary Conway Clark (who remains a close friend and mentor), wanted straight-up Homicide (not Special Victims), rides her bike to work, plays on the cops vs. lawyers baseball team and occasionally frequents the batting cages.
