Famke Janssen was born January 1st, 1964 in Amsterdam, Holland. She was married to Todd "Kip" Williams, but got a divorce last year. Famke has 2 sisters: Natalya and Lucy. Famke got her big break in 1995 playing the evil Xenia Onatopp in the Bond flick "Goldeneye". Famke's name means 'little girl' in Frisian (language spoken in the Dutch province of Friesland). Famke started her career as a model, in 1984 she moved to the United States. Famke is a beauty with brains : she speaks four languages: Dutch, German, English and French; she majored in writing and literature at Columbia University and studied acting with Harold Guskin. Famke wrote a moviescript a few years ago, but hasn't done anything with it yet. She has also directed a short film.
